Don't you love the pretty shape of these Toxic Treats Halloween Cards? Stampin' Up! has some beautifully shaped Framelits, of which I have several, and I wanted to try creating a card base using one of these as the base.
Well...as you can see, I did create three cards and that's what I'd like to talk to you about. Here's the first one with a Basic Black card stock base. I used Whisper White craft ink for stamping on the black.
Then, I decided to try it again; this time with a Crumb Cake card stock base...
Really like this one with the Scalloped Tulle bow at the top.
But, it was really tough to roll two layers of card stock with the framelits through my Big Shot.
Recommended use is one layer but I tried it with two...twice!
So, I felt compelled to record this video with my reasons for not wanting to try it again and also suggest an alternative for you to get the same look. Watch below...
