Stampin' Up! Established Elegance Anniversary Card

This anniversary card features another favorite Stampin' Up! set that's retiring--- the beautiful and versatile, Established Elegance (wood, clear).
Here it's paired with a great mini designer paper stack, Print Poetry (129312) from the Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog. The ornate background was snipped from one of these 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 sheets and is topped with a sponged Tea Lace Paper Doily (129399) and the 3/8" Vanilla Flower Trim (126869). 

This anniversary card is for our oldest daughter and her husband's 5th wedding anniversary!

• Champagne Glass Glitter (120997) adds a sparkly touch to the flowers.
• The stamped ornate flourishes were added with VersaMark (102283), Stampin' Emboss Powder in Gold (109129) and the Heat Tool (129053).
• The Midnight Muse backdrop and flagged pieces are from the 2012-2014 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (126910).
• Simply change the sentiment to make this card for any occasion!

Mother's Day Card Elements of Style

Mother's Day is just around the corner and I have some ideas for you to help with your handmade cards!  Today I am sharing the card I made for my mom using one of my favorite sets of ALL Stampin' Up! time... Elements of Style (wood, clear). 

This jewel of a set is on the Stampin' Up! retiring list so if it's not in your collection, you better act fast! It will not be available after June 3. 

I believe I can honestly say that I have used this set more than any in my collection! ...even on masculine cards!  Believe me...there's a way to use ANY set on a masculine card!  (Try my Mainly Manly Card series to see how!)

Now, back to Mother's Day!  Need some help with sweet wording for the inside of your hand-made creations?  Here's a collection of a few quotes and thoughts for you to use or inspire you for your own sentiments:

In comparison to the card seen here, you'll see that I used Baker's Twine instead of a designer paper strip and cut the stamped image with a Labels Framelit instead of a punch.  The sentiment is from the welcome kit for My Paper Pumpkin.
