Stampin' Up! Fan Fair and Lovely Little Labels Thank You Card
Today's card is a "thank you" that I made for a friend using the
beautiful Fan Fair Designer Series Paper (126918) and the Lovely Little
Labels(126260-wood, 126262-clear) set. That Little Labels Punch
Pack(126881) is adorable and compliments this set perfectly!
The main image is one of several that can be found on one of the
sheets in the designer paper pack. Just a little trimming with my Paper
Snips(103579) was all I needed for this main image with a sweet
sentiment.
I usually send my card with the message written on a post it note
inside so that the recipient can use it to send if they wish. The card
is then a greeting and a gift! The recipient of this card sent a sweet
message to me that said she wanted to keep it for herself. Ah...the
power of a card!
inklings:
The heart is created with the Full Heart (119883)punched from the
Natural Compositions Specialty Paper(126917) and sponged with Riding
Hood Red ink(126968).
The little banners were created with the Bitty Banners
Framelits(129267) cut in half. Holes were punched with our hand held
hole punch and strung together with Linen Thread (104199).
Anchoring this mini banner are the Designer Vintage Faceted Buttons(127555) along with help of some Glue Dots (103683).

Sharing a card that I made a while back using the Stampin' Up! Elements of Style (wood, clear) set and some retired designer paper. This was an anniversary card that I made for my daughter and her husband for their 5th anniversary last month.
The Elements of Style set is versatile and I love using it for the main image and as a background. Here, I tore one of the Designer Frames 123130 around the textured image. Then, I stamped a floral image in Crumb Cake ink and the floral vine in Soft Suede over top.
This stamp set along with the coordinating Postage Stamp Punch is awesome and can be adapted to work both masculine and feminine themed cards.
The "hello" greeting is from the designer paper series and cut into a strip to form the border with an accent strip of punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch.
The tone on tone background stamp makes for easy stamping yet ads just the right touch to the base of this 4 1/4" square card.
An Antique Brad adds a vintage feel to this friendly greeting card.
The Fan Fair DSP collection has several typography images that can be used to create quick and easy cards. Try this technique when you are working on cards that you need in a jiffy!

Stampin' Up! Fourth of July Card Idea and Video Tutorial
Fourth of July celebrations begin this week with the Brown family and here is a card created with the help of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Papers that I wanted to share.
I had a specific request from a subscriber over on my You Tube channel and I loved the challenge...especially since I didn't have a Fourth of July or patriotic stamp set to use!
Happy Monday! Today I have a card created using Stampin' Up! Summer Smooches DSP and the Mixed Bunch(wood, clear) set. There is quite an array of product on this one... some retired... so let me just fill you in on a few details.
The heart border was created with the Mini Heart Punch all lined up in Early Espresso. Little Leaves Sizzlit die cuts provide a pretty and contrasting backdrop to the Blossom Punched stamped image and the sentiment is from Thoughts and Prayers stamp set (wood, clear).
Some of the gone but not forgotten ;) products used here include:
The Summer Smooches Fabric Brad (which sold out during the initial sales period...and, fast!)
Crop-A-Dile for the punched hole in the tag
Tag Corner Punch
It's always fun to mix and blend new products with supplies and tools from your stash. To add to the new, you can shop 24/7 in the Online Store.
So, Father's Day is this Sunday and you need a quick and easy card idea? Here's a Stampin' Up! card you'll have done in a few minutes and then you can spend your time writing a heart-felt message inside!
Tie a coordinating ribbon or twine around the lower front.
Punch or die cut a background in coordinating color if card stock and sponge around the edges. Here I used the fabulous, new Apothecary Accents Framelits.
Stamp sentiment, punch, and adhere to background piece. Don't have a Father's Day sentiment? How about a Just for You, With Love, Thinking of You...or use a marker and write your greeting! How special and what a personal touch!
Happy Father's Day to all Dads on your Special Day!
Have fun and create a Stampin' Up! card for someone this Father's Day!
How about a quick and easy wedding card idea? This Stampin' Up! card idea uses the Manhattan Flower Textured Impressions Folder and Vellum Card Stock that produces a "wow" in minutes!
The trick to using vellum is to "hide" the adhesive used to attach it to the card stock so that it is not visible from the card front.
On this card, I used Mini Glue Dots behind some of the areas that have been embossed with the Textured Impressions Folder. Works like a charm! Then, I trimmed the vellum along the top outline of the flowers to add a bit of elegance.
Quick, easy,...ready to go in minutes!
If you need any of the supplies to create this card, the product listing is below. You can shop online, 24/7!
