Glued punched shapes, dry embossing, and title for more texture.
Stampin' Up! Mixed Media 6
Applied another two coats of texture...let dry.
Stampin' Up! Mixed Media 7
Added more punched shapes and textures.
Stampin' Up! Mixed Media 8
Another coat of gesso!
Stampin' Up! Mixed Media 9
Lots of spray color with Stampin' Up! Stampin' Spritzers, ink refills, and rubbing alcohol mixture. Several coats were applied to get the desired intensity. I had to be really patient to let it dry between coats!
Stampin' Up! Mixed Media 10
Added sponging of Early Espresso ink to add a more masculine feel.
Stampin' Up! Mixed Media 11
Using Stampin' Up! Encore Gold Ink to highlight the title and other textures. Just call me "Goldfinger". :)
Stampin' Up! Mixed Media Cover
Here's the completed cover that I mailed to our daughter. The back cover was the same without as much texturing details. She made it into a 3 ring book with letters of love mounted on coordinating colors of card stock. I also created several "pockets" with my Envelope Punch Board and Stampin' Up! Designer Paper. These added interest to the book and held little noted and folded letters.
Mixed media is a lot of fun and very do-able with Stampin' Up! products and a few extras...give it a try.

In this video tutorial, you'll see the method I devised for this task. Doing it this way, there is less damage to the wreath and makes it easy to change the flowers.
