Stampin' Up! Fun- Sharing What I Love

It's always a joy to share the fun of Stampin' Up! with those new to the craft.  I had the pleasure of doing that yesterday with a special group of educators here in Southeast Texas.

I shared my story of how I became involved with Stampin' Up! when I was invited to an in-home party almost five years ago.  I demonstrated a simple card, had plenty of samples on display, and also let the group try their hand at stamping. I'm looking forward to meeting with many of them next month at a Stampin' Up! party scheduled by one of the ladies.

Stampin' Up!...a fun experience and a great time!  I love sharing it!

Stampin' Up! Designer Paper: Night and Day Banner

Stampin up designer paper Nightanddaycardsbanner Stampin' Up! Designer Paper, Night and Day, is available in the Clearance Rack for a great price!   I {heart} this paper and was sure to stock up.  It is great for masculine cards and has a beautiful elegance to it!  Originally a holiday release for Halloween, I have found this paper to be SO versatile.

Here I have created a CARDS Banner to display at a presentation for a special group of public educators at a local library today!  I think this would be elegant for a black and white themed wedding, as well.  Brides...E-mail me if you're interested!

Stampin' Up! Masculine Card- For the Graduate

Stampinupmasculinegraduate Here's an easy Stampin' Up! masculine card for the graduate using the Woodland Walk Designer Series Paper and the Word Play -wood, clear stamp set sentiment, Go Confidently in the Direction of your Dreams.  The light played havoc with my photo but "in real life", the sentiment really shows up nicely and makes a great focal point. The texture is courtesy of the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder.

The background tree is from the Thoughts and Prayers set and it dresses up the Top Note layer with a pop of color.

The Asian beauty is black embossed on top of the Fresh Cuts background inked in Certainly Celery. The Very Vintage Jumbo Stampin' Around Wheel embellishes the card base.
