Stampin' Up! Card Idea- Because I Care

Stampin; Up! Card Idea- Because I Care The current Stampin' Up! Hostess Set "Because I Care" and a card in Paper Crafts magazine inspired the idea for this thank you greeting.

This stamp usually sees lots of color from me but I had to try this neutral version and I love the simple elegance.  The final touch with the white gel pen really added to the overall look.  Isn't it great that something so easy and basic can add so much?

Stampin' Up! Masculine Card Idea- Happy Birthday, Harrison!

Stampinupbirthdaycardharrison

The Stampin' Up! Last Chance list has some great products for masculine card ideas.  Here is one I made for my nephew's birthday using the Newsprint Designer Series Paper and the Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware

I used Elegant Eggplant as a contrast for the card base and a stamped sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  The Naturally Serif Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die  letters cut with the Big Shot add a personalized touch to the card.  A spritz with the Color Spritzer Tool and an Elegant Eggplant Marker adds a bit of masculine charm to this Stampin' Up! birthday card.

Stay tuned for an "A-Z" video tip tomorrow.  I promise, it'll come in handy when working with what I call "alphabet soup"!  See you then!

I hope you'll try this fun technique.  You can get your Distressing Essentials Kit HERE in the ONLINE STORE.

Stampin' Up! Card Idea- Vintage Vogue Sympathy

Stampin up card idea- Vintage Vogue
Here's an idea for a sympathy card using Stampin' Up! Elegant Soiree Designer Series Paper on the Last Chance List. Check HERE to see if it is still available.

The neutral tones in this paper lend a peaceful, serene feel to this card. Vintage Vogue(wood, clear) flowers and border stamps and a Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment provide the stamped images. I thought the big jumbo brads would be perfect for the flower centers.

Sending a handmade card to someone during a time of loss can bring comfort and is an outpouring of kindness and love to the recipient.  Take some time to create some sympathy cards to have on hand. Use your creativity, your ideas, and Stampin' Up! card supplies to reach out with love.

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator - A Stampin' Up! Story

Stampinup demonstrator Do you love paper crafting, rubber stamping, scrapbooking?  Have you thought of becoming a demonstrator and running your own business?

"Not me," you say, "I could NEVER be a demonstrator!"
I thought the SAME...here's my story:

My Stampin' Up! Story
Lisa Brown

About five years ago, I decided to start scrapbooking. This came out of a need to do something with all the photos and mementos my girls had collected throughout their years in high school. Once I began, I was driven. I loved it! And, my girls really appreciated the work I put into their  pages.
I guess it must have been around April of 2006, that my daughter's friend invited us to a in-home party for a company her sister had become affiliated with...some company called Stampin' Up! I was really skeptical. I was sure I had everything I needed for scrapbooking; I wasn't interested in rubber stamps. But, I went and had a really fun time, created a cute card, and ordered a few things to add to my supplies. When my order came in, I was really excited. This was so much fun!

I went to another party and placed another order...I was hooked.
In October 2006, my demonstrator e-mailed me with information on a discount on the Starter Kit. I looked it over and decided this would be a great way to get lots of the supplies and stamp sets that I was wanting at a great price and order my supplies at a discount...but me?... be a demonstrator and hold workshops and classes...not me. ;)
It was like Christmas when my Starter Kit arrived and I began making cards, sending them to my friends and family...everyone loved what I was doing. I even showed off my creations at work and before I knew it, I had two friends that purchased the Starter Kit at the same great promotional price. A few weeks went by and my demonstrator (my upline), suggested that I conduct a workshop that she had scheduled with a mutual friend. I couldn't do that!
Me? Hold a workshop???!!!
But, I did...
and the rest is history!

I have made so many wonderful friends and met so many people through my involvement with Stampin' Up! I have two stamp clubs with some awesome ladies that meet once a month in my home and I hold workshops, classes, and have conducted birthday parties for young girls. AND, I am able to earn money to help with family expenses.
Quite amazing for someone who said "not me".

This could be "you!"

I'd love to discuss this oportunity with you.

E-mail me and let's talk!
