Stampin' Up! Card Idea- Artistic Etchings Eiffel Tower

Stampin up card idea artistic etchings eiffel tower watercolorOn this day in 1889, the Eiffel Tower was first opened and is one of the world's most recognizable structures.  A beautiful image in Stampin' Up!'s Artistic Etchings stamp set, I have featured it on today's card with a watercolor wash technique.

The Eiffel Tower was built as the entrance arch to Paris' 1889 World's Fair.  It is the most visited paid monument in the world and is a global cultural icon of France.
Read more about it HERE on Wikipedia.

Lately the Eiffel Tower has become very popular in home decor and, of course, rubber stamping.

Well, in honor of St.Patrick's Day (and that Irish Spring commercial), I decided to write a limerick for you.  Have a glorious, green day!

A Day in the Life 2012 and My Digital Studio- Fit and Fun

My Digital Studio Day in the Life One Little WordKeeping up with my One Little Word/ Word of the Year scrapbooking project had been easy with My Digital Studio

Here's the page I did marking the memory of our family's participation in The Gusher Marathon/Half Marathon/5K last weekend.  We feel so fortunate to have our parents with us and participating...they were the oldest participants at 82 and 80!

It's times like these that I really appreciate being able to record a memory in a matter of minutes. Don't get me wrong...I love working with paper and traditional scrapbooking, but having My Digital Studio has motivated me to get these special times documented in a timely fashion.
