On this day in 1889, the Eiffel Tower was first opened and is one of the world's most recognizable structures. A beautiful image in Stampin' Up!'s Artistic Etchings stamp set, I have featured it on today's card with a watercolor wash technique.
The Eiffel Tower was built as the entrance arch to Paris' 1889 World's Fair. It is the most visited paid monument in the world and is a global cultural icon of France.
