Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio Downtown Grunge and Get It Done

My Digital Studio Downtown Grunge and Get It Done

OK...yes, I DO LOVE paper crafting.  But, the ease of digital scrapbooking with My Digital Studio has me "hooked"!  ...pun intended :) since the photos above were taken at Bass Pro Shop!

So, it's like this.  I always have my camera (iPhone) with me so there is never an excuse to not capture the moment. Once at my computer,  I can pull up My Digital Studio, pop in the pics, add a few embellishments and brush stamps...done.  Then, the big decision is whether to have the pages printed or to preserve in total digital format.  Either way, it's completed in a few steps. Love it!

Now, am I totally abandoning my tradtional scrapbooking with paper, embellishments, buttons, etc.?

No way!

But, I have an option and that is awesome!

If you haven't taken the leap yet and tried the digital scene...you can do so, risk free for 30 days.  Find out how here!

See what a new MY DIGITAL STUDIO crafter has to say about using this digital software!

Stampin' Up! 2012-2014 In Colors Sneak Peek

I have to admit that each year when Stampin' Up! reveals the new In Colors, my reaction is ..."oh, ok,hmm..." But, this year, I've already fallen in love with the new colors!  I guess my best way to describe them is regal and rich.  {The Regals are my favorite color collection. :)}

To give you a little peek, I've created some simple little note cards in each color with some side by side comparisons.

First...

Stampin' Up! Have A Seat Thank You Notes

Stampin-up-card-idea-have-a-seatThe welcoming charm of the images in Stampin' Up!'s Have A Seat make it quick and easy to put a little thank you note together.  As you can see here, I couldn't stop with just one!  So I decided to make a little set of four to give as a gift.

Have a Seat (wood, clear) is one of the many retiring sets that will no longer be available from Stampin' Up! after May 31, 2012.  I have to admit, this is one I'll hold on to...it's just fun for any kind of note.

Check back on Monday for a video tutorial to see how to create an easy envelope for these little note cards. Tomorrow, I'll have a sneak peek of the NEW 2012-2014 In Colors!
See you then!
