Gently Falling Summer Starfruit
September 05, 2012
I have to confess that I had not opened my Stampin' Up! Summer Starfruit ink pad until this past week! What was I waiting for? When I opened the pad and stamped the first leaf from Gently Falling (wood, clear), I knew that I wanted to pair it with my Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder.
I decided to go with the monochromatic look and only used Whisper White for the stamped sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners (wood, clear) and the stamped and embossed leaves. The Window Frames Framelit provides a peek-through for the sentiment on the inside of the card.
inklings:
- Woodgrain Textured Impressions Folder provides a complimentary texture for the embossed leaves. Window Frame was cut first.
- Sponging provides a depth and added color to the Woodgrain and around the inner In Color Designer Paper piece.
- The birthday greeting is embossed in gold and cut with a Bitty Banners Framelit.
- The leaf on the inside provides a continuity with the card front.
The only embellishment missing here is some FREE Summer Starfruit Ribbon!
That's right! With each $40 product purchase this month receive your choice of ribbon from the 2012-2014 In Color Stitched Satin Ribbon! No Limit!
love this card! thank you for the tips too. Two jumped out to me that gave me the question ew often ask "Why didn`t I think of that?"
