Read Across America Day 2013

Today is Read Across America Day in the U.S....a day to promote reading especially for children and young adults.   This nationwide observance coincides with the anniversary of the birth of Theodor Geisel aka Dr. Seuss, a well known and loved author of children's books.

To celebrate this day and in loving memory of Dr. Seuss, I've composed a Seuss-like poem entitled, "Oh, the Wonderful Things Mrs. Brown Can Do! ;)

Oh, the wonderful things Mrs. Brown can do,
She’s a Stampin’ Up! Demo
And, you can be one, too.
Mrs. Brown can do it.
How about you?

She can cut with scissors.
Mrs. Brown can “snip”
How about you?
Can you go snip, snip?

She can stamp with rubber
She can go “tap, tap”.
She can cheer you on
She can go “clap, clap”.

She can go “swish, swish”
With Stampin’ Spritzers, yes indeed.
She can help with techniques
And, other paper crafting needs.

Mrs. Brown’s an SU Demo
Mrs. Brown loves it through and through.
Mrs. Brown’s an SU! Demo,
And, you can be one, too!

Thank you, Dr. Seuss, for the inspiration! ;)
