The Big CASE- A Stampin' Up! Video Tutorial

Bet you're really wondering about this CASE I'm referring to in this Stampin' Up! video tutorial, right?

Well, in our crafting world, CASE is the acronym for Copy And Share Everything!  CASE-ing is encouraged and to support that, there is a nifty little tool that you can access through my website.

Watch the video tutorial below or HERE over on You Tube to see it now!

Find the link to this nifty tool in the right column sidebar here on my website. Click on " View Our Catalogs" and it will take you right to it!

Hope this video tutorial has encouraged and will help you to CASE all those fabulous projects in the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog!

New Stampin' Up! Calling All Heroes Photopolymer Stamp Set

The latest from Stampin' Up! is this spectacular super hero stamp set, Calling All Heroes!

Read on for the thoughts of the the Catalog Designer who designed this super hero set!

A good portion of my youth was spent watching reruns of the campy Adam West Batman TV show, or filling notebooks with sketches of Michael Keaton wearing the cape and cowl. I even dug out this vintage drawing—dated '93—to verify my lifelong geek credentials.

Unlike some childhood properties that I have since aged out of (He-Man, anyone?) my love of Batman and superheroes has grown up with me—inspiring me to create a new photopolymer stamp set: Calling All Heroes (item 138002).

This versatile set is like having a fully-stocked utility belt of iconic comic book imagery. It includes an alphabet, burst shapes, a tileable cityscape and halftone pattern, and a variety of elements to recreate your favorite hero—or piece together an original creation. What would Dick Grayson look like with Clark Kent's glasses and Tony Stark's goatee? Get this set and find out!

Use the alphabet to stamp a custom POW!, ZAP!, or whatever super-sayings you can dream up. The Word Bubbles Framelits Dies (item132968) can also provide great accents for your comic-themed projects (although they don’t directly coordinate).

As the father of a little girl who loves donning capes and masks just as much as her older brother, I’m well aware that superheroes aren't just for boys anymore. I made sure this set could be easily adapted for both boys and girls.

Well, what are you waiting for? Grab Calling All Heroes today, and stamp out evildoers everywhere!

On spot with trends, Rachel used The Open Sea (wood, clear),to create this fabulous masculine card with special embellishment touches.  The Circle Card Thinlet cut really showcased these images. Not shown is the globe image from this set on the reverse side of the ship.  Love it!

Stampin' Up! Card from Friends

On this beautiful Saturday, I just had to share two special Stampin' Up! cards that I received from two awesome ladies this week! Let's take a look!

Melted Crayon Technique

This technique is beautiful and Debbie is going to have to give me a hands on tutorial!  Love the Mixed Media on this card!  The color is vibrant and the combo of different stamp sets is perfect.  Thanks, Debbie!

Stenciling/Masking Technique

This "wow" card is from a member of my downline, Catherine.  Stenciling/masking is one of my recent favorite techniques and Catherine's use here make this card fun and trendy!  Catherine used the masks from the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit (133507) that was in last year's Holiday catalog and was thrilled to see it in the new Stampin' Up! Catalog!  Thank you for a great sample using this technique, Catherine!

Are you going to have some time to craft today? I hope these Stampin' Up! card ideas have inspired you to create something fun and beautiful!
