Stampin' Up! Thankgiving 2015 Host Gift

Today's fall themed re-make of yesterday's Halloween project is the perfect size for a votive candle as a gift for your Thanksgiving host or hostess. Using the same set, A Little Something along with the Into the Woods Designer Series Paper, this project is one you can make now to have ready for any occasion that a little gift would be appreciated.

12 Weeks Halloween 2015 Week 12- Stampin' Up! A Little Something Box Video Tutorial

Can you believe that we have reached Week 12 of our 12 Weeks of Halloween Projects? For today's project, we will make this easy-to assemble treat box with the help of the versatile, A Little Something stamp set from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.
Let's take a look at the final video of this series below. You can also find it HERE on my You Tube channel.
inklings:
- For the box, cut your card stock to 3" x 8 1/2". Score at 2", 4", 6," and 8" on the long side. Turn and score at 1".
- You'll need approx. 9" of ribbon to wrap around the box. You may substitute a 1/2" strip of card stock or designer paper.
- Experiment with your punches to find one that fits your sentiment.
- Thank outside of the box for a punch or shape to back your sentiment.

Makeover Monday- Stampin' Up! Howl-o-ween Treat Card and Punch Tip Video

Hello and welcome to Makeover Monday with this fun Stampin' Up! Howl-o-ween Treat card as a sample of one of my most popular videos on You Tube; the Scallop Circle with a Twist tip!
This is an easy variation using any of your scallop circle punches to get a starburst effect. On this card, it is used as a backing for my Vintage Designer Button.

- Instead of removable adhesive as seen in the video, you can use your SNAIL adhesive and run your finger over it so it's not too tacky.
- For this sample, I used the 1 1/4" Scallop Circle Punch (127811).
- On this card, the front is cut in half at 2 1/8". The Trick or Treat stamp from the set was cut apart. Trick and Or are adhered to the top half of the inside of the card. Treat is adhered to the top edge of the card front.
Halloween is THIS weekend and had planned to get my cards in the mail today but found that I was totally out of stamps! A trip to the post office tomorrow is on my To Do list! Do you mail Halloween cards?
