Makeover Monday- Stampin' Up! Winter Wonderland Trash to Treasure

Stampin-up-winter-wonderland-button-box-makeover-12-21Ever start to throw something into the trash and then think, "Wait a minute...I might be able to use this," and tuck it into a drawer for "that day"?

I do this often and sorry to say that many times, I'll end up trashing it anyway. But this time, it was different.

If you have Stampin' Up! buttons, you probably have some of these circle shaped plastic boxes in your craft room.  Well, let me tell you...it's just the  right size to dress up and hold a pair of earrings or a few mints.

The embellishment that tops it off may look a bit familiar.  You're right! It's the same concept and supplies that was shared in last week's Makeover Monday HERE.

Today's makeover is this trash to treasure piece featuring the BEAUTIFUL Winter Wonderland Specialty Paper from Stampin' Up!

You can see the original version below or HERE on my You Tube Channel.

inklings:

  • Short on time?  Top off your button box with a simple stamped image punched with your circle punch.
  • Use the Specialty Paper, Gold Foil, or Glimmer Paper to add a shine to your project in lieu of glitter.  Dazzling Details works great, too!
  • Our Tear and Tape is much easier to use than Sticky Strip.  Just rip off a piece and you're good to go!
  •  Our Washi Tape is varying widths really made this makeover come together in a jif!
  • Gold Cording is sold out!  Subsitute 1/8" Gold Ribbon. (see below)

Yes, HE Stamps! Stampin' Up! On Stage Dallas 2015

Stampin-up-on-stage-dallasYes, HE stamps...my best friend, my husband, my love...stamps and supports me in this wonderful world of crafting and Stampin' Up!

He's joined me on incentive trips that "we've" earned  to San Diego and Washington D.C. and experienced the fun and fabulous time provided by Stampin' Up! as well as meeting and making friends with demonstrators from across the country.  But, he had never experienced the excitement and fun of coming together with hundreds of demos and members of the Stampin' Up! corporate team for training and crafting as one big Stampin' Up! family.  We are both looking forward to the Stampin' Up! Mediteranean Cruise in May!

When we had the opportunity to attend Stampin' Up! OnStage in Dallas last month, he was willing and ready to go!  I believe he enjoyed it as much as I did and as knowledgeable as he is with my business and Stampin' Up!, he fit right in!

Stampin-up-on-stage-dallas-he-stampsHere he's working on a card with products you'll see in the new Occasions Catalog in January.

Stampin-up-botanical-bloomsHere's his finished card using the new Botanical Blooms and Coordinating Framelits and Designer Series Paper.  Love that the stamps coordinate with the designer paper to allow you to stamp within the images.

Stampin-up-party-wishesHis next card features his favorite... the Party Wishes stamp set and coordinating set of mini punches, the Party Punch Pack. Of course, you'll be able to purchase the stamp set and punches in a bundle for 15% off! That super cute confetti designer paper is from a big, beautiful, 12 x 12 stack with 48 pages...the It's My Party Designer Series Paper Stack!

Stampin-up-going-globalHis next card features one of my favorite sets from the Occasions Catalog, Going Global.  We used a super new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to "stamp" the background.  I love how he adhered his world image upside down to go with the "I'm Lost Without You" sentiment.  Whether that was intentional or not, it's perfect, don't you think?

So, yes, he stamps and we have a great time sharing this world of Stampin' Up!  Thanks for taking the time to view his work using product from the new Occasions Catalog debuting in January from Stampin' Up!
