Makeover Monday- DIY Gift Idea for Mother's Day and Video

Diy-mothers-day-gift-handmade-card-set-4-18Today's Makeover Monday project is a DIY Mother's Day Gift idea...a set of cards that can be used for any occasion.

I've always found that a set of handmade cards is a much appreciated and thoughtful gift for anyone.  Creating a set like this one goes quickly with a simple yet classic and pretty design.

These cards feature the Kinda Eclectic stamp set with it's beautiful images with colors inspired by the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack.

This video was the inspiration for this 2016 idea so let's take a look.

Lisa's Inklings:

  • A strip of the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper takes the place of the scalloped border piece in the original.
  • A Tea Lace Paper Doily was cut in half for the top section.  Really makes the stamped image stand out!
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 4 x 5 1/4" for the inside of these cards.  Gives plenty of room for writing.
