This week's 2016 Halloween project is a fun treat box using the Stampin' Up! Cookie Cutter Halloween and Spooky Fun stamp sets that go LIVE tomorrow with the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.

This box was designed to hold an M & M container that I'm sure you all have seen at the check out counter at your favorite big box store.  That pop of glimmer is so fun and you are going to love it for your fall crafting.

Here's the how to for Week 4 in our Halloween series...

• Cut card stock to 6 1/2" x 8 1/2".
• Score with short side up at 1 1/2", 3", 4 1/2", and 6".
• Turn and score with long side up at 1/2" and 7".

Today's tip is a little different from the norm.  From experience, it may be helpful information when ordering "bundles" from Stampin' Up! to receive a 10% discount.

• Stampin' Up! Bundles usually include a stamp set and a coordinating punch OR set of framelits/thinlits.
• As a general rule, bundles are offered when the products debut.
• There are many stamp sets which have coordinating punches and thinlits/framelits that are not bundled. Be sure to read the fine print!

If you haven't discovered the awesome-ness of Project Life by Stampin' Up for card making, you are in for a treat with today's Makeover Monday project!

Inspired by a previous card and video tutorial, this card was created with the beautiful Hello Lovely Project Life by Stampin' Up! card collection.  You can choose a couple of cards from the the collection for your starting point and just go with it.

You can see above that I chose two, 3 x 4 cards and one, 4 x 6 card from the collection.  The 4 x 6 was trimmed at 5 1/4 to make it just right for the background layer of the card base.

• Feel free to mix and match patterns such as on this makeover.  If  it's in the kit, feel confident in using any combination of cards. What's important is that it's pleasing to your eye!
• On the makeover, the doily is omitted and Basic Jewels Pearls were used as a sweet embellishment.
• Our Whisper White Organza Ribbon is always in style; always beautiful.

This card making makeover is more like an overhaul but you'll see how the original version in the video tutorial inspired this newbie using the Thoughtful Branches Stamp set from Stampin' Up!

The Thoughtful Branches stamp set and coordinating thinlits to make the bundle at 10% off does not disappoint.  From the fonts to the intricate dies, you will want to use this set over and over again.  Don't put it off!  It's only available until August 31, 2016.

Let's take a look at the card that was the inspiration for this creation in this video from the past.

Lisa Inklings:

• The makeover card was created in the standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 size.
• Instead of a textured piece of card stock for the back layer, a texture look designer paper was used.
• The punched piece is "replaced" by metallic twine and an enamel shape.
