Today's Makeover Monday project is a remake of my most popular You Tube video featuring a Christmas card with a tree in chocolate (glitter)!
Lovely as a Tree by Stampin' Up! is still a beautiful set and a favorite among many. The versatility is timeless and this card shows off the beauty of this tree stamp in Emerald Envy glitter from the Holiday Catalog.
Current Hostess Code: MP36GD7R Place an online order with me using the Host Code and receive a gift from me. Please do not use the Host Code if your order totals $150 or more before shipping and tax. You will receive Stampin' Rewards from Stampin' Up! on your order and I will still send your gift!

Spritzing water on your card stock before embossing may help your piece to not tear from the deep impressions. You may or may not need to do this. Pressure on Big Shots vary depending on "age" and I found that my card stock did fine without spritzing. Test it with your machine.

As always, thank you for stopping by and allowing me to share with you. Hope you enjoyed today's tiny Christmas treat box video tutorial.
Today's project is the third in a series of 2016 Stampin' Up! Christmas Cards featuring the Reason for the Season stamp set.
This set is carried over in the annual catalog from last year's Holiday Catalog and is truly one of my favorites. The poinsettias are beautiful and the sentiments capture the true meaning of the season in a lovely font.
In the background is a gorgeous piece from the Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Paper collection that is a must have for your paper crafting. Personal preference is to leave it white but you can also add color with our inks and sponges or sponge daubers.
Let's take a look at the assembly in the video tutorial then read on to find the link to the product information sheet.
Once you try coloring on the Shimmery White card stock, you'll see how you can achieve beautiful results with little time and effort! We can all use some time saving techniques, right?

Thanks for tuning in for today's 2016 Christmas card idea!
Here's another fun card making idea for Week 11 of the 12 Weeks of Halloween! Can you believe that next week, we will complete this series?
The Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper is really fun to use when creating. On today's project, one of the images from the paper is used to make a quick card that you'll be delighted to share with family or friends for a little Halloween fun!
Can we talk about these embellishments for a minute? These adorable Mini Tassels have been so neglected and look how cute it is all tied up with the Halloween Night Baker's Twine! Bordering the top and bottom of the designer paper image...Halloween Night Washi Tape! And, the Halloween Night Enamel Dots are used to scatter a bit of color around the sentiment. Love the coordination of these products!

Today's post is dedicated to those of you who are wondering about, thinking about, and wanting to start the wonderful hobby of card making/rubber stamping but are not sure where to start.
From experience, this paper crafter knows how intimidating it can be to look through all of the hundreds (if not kajillons) of websites, online stores, and catalogs and not have a clue about where to begin or what to purchase. We've all been precisely there at one point in our happy crafting lives.
With that memory in mind, today's tip and video tutorial will hopefully give you a smidgen (is that a word?) of an idea of how to begin and where to invest your hard earned dollars.
Before you watch the video, my apologies for mistake I made during recording. You'll see it/hear it and if you have questions after you watch the video, please let me know.
