Makeover Monday Video Tutorial- Make a Masculine Valentine Card

Masculine-valentine-card-makeover-1Today's makeover is a Valentine card with a masculine feel in some of our beautiful Stampin' Up! Neutrals.  The Sealed with Love stamp set provides the sentiment with copper embossing.

In card making, neutral colors can always deliver beautiful masculine cards with an elegant style.  Take a look at this way-back-when video that inspired this card.

Lisa's Inklings:

  • The wrapped Burlap Ribbon  on the makeover provides a good alternative for easy mailing.
  • An Embossing Buddy was brushed over the Basic Black card stock before embossing.
  • The Burlap Ribbon was cut just long enough to wrap around the sides of the Basic Black card stock and secured with Glue Dots.
  • Stampin' Up! no longer carries the Craft and Paper Scissors.  Still a good idea to dedicate some scissors for exclusively cutting ribbon/fabric.
