A Matchbook for Easter?

Matchbook-Easter-treat-2017aThis little matchbook makes a cute little wrap for an Easter treat.  I think it's just the right size for a Ghirardelli chocolate but I dare not buy any because I LOVE chocolate!  Anyway, a little basket full of these would be so cute on your table this spring.  Be warned, though! Chocolate lovers in your family may not be able to resist.

You can cut several of these from one sheet of card stock and with a few scores, it can be assembled in a few minutes.  The Succulent Framelits have several dies that will enable you to make all kinds of flowers including the ones you see here.

Let's take a look at today's video tutorial and you can see how easy these little matchbooks can be!

Lisa's Inklings:

  • Cut Mint Macaron base to 5 1/2" x 2".
  • Score at 2 1/4" and 4 7/8".
  • Cut designer paper to 2 1/8" x 1 7/8" and 1/2" x 1 7/8".
  • Use a little SNAIL adhesive to hold your treat inside the matchbook.
