Makeover Monday Video Tutorial- Make A Spooky Night Halloween Box

Spooky-night-halloween-box-aToday's makeover is another Halloween box made with the Spooky Cat stamp set and Spooky Night Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!

This wide-eyed owl can be stamped right on to the branch on this piece of the Spooky Night paper.  And, don't worry, you can make about 20 of these with the two sheets of this print that come in each designer paper pack.  The reverse side is used for the sides and back.  If  your choose a different pattern for those, you can make up to 32 of these with the owl stamped directly onto the paper.

Lisa's Inklings:

  • Cut Very Vanilla for box to 4 1/8" x 7". Score long side at 2 3/8", 3 1/4", 5 5/8", 6 1/2".  Turn and score on short side at 7/8".
  • Cut Basic Black: One piece to  1/8" x 3 1/8" and two pieces- 3/4" x 3 1/8".
  • Cut Spooky Night paper for moon background and back piece to 2" x 3".  You'll want to trim the moon piece where most of the moon is visible.
  • Cut two strips of Spooky Night for sides: 5/8" x 3".
  • Fussy cut the witch hat from Spooky Night paper.
