Today's paper crafting project is the third in my series of Valentine treat holders for 2018. It was designed specifically for a gluten free granola bar for our granddaughter...and, her momma! I also wanted to create a bag with supplies that weren't necessarily designed for Valentines.

The designer paper for the bag is cut at 7 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score on the long side at 3", 4", 7", and 8". Turn and score on the short side at 1" and 6".
The Library Clips make a really cute closure for this bag and holds the treat inside until you're ready for it!
The black and white theme of the Petal Passions Designer Series Paper is so versatile! This striped pattern paired perfectly with this panda image and Cherry Cobbler accents.

Today's tip is how to do my favorite Brusho technique...what I call Stained Glass with Brusho.
The card pictured here uses the butterfly element that I created in today's video. If you haven't discovered or tried Brusho, I am hoping that it inspires you to give it a go!

Use an Aqua Painter and Watercolor Paper for this technique.
Let the water pool on the paper for this effect.
Once you have finished apply the Brusho Crystal Colour to the water, let it dry on its own without using the Heat Tool.

Let's start the week off with a treat box for Valentine candy! This project is a makeover of a box that I made a couple of years ago for little 3 x 3 Valentine cards but it works for sweet treats, too!
I was able to fit these two Reese's Peanut Butter Hearts inside so you know there is plenty of room for treats in this little box.
Let's take a look at the how-to from "back when" so you can make some for your little sweethearts, too!

The original project has little 3" x 3" Valentines inside but it's also a great size for sweet treats.
For the box, cut the card stock or designer paper to 4" x 10". Score on the long side at 1", 4 1/2", 5 1/2", and 9". Turn and score at 1" on the short side for the box bottom.
I used a hand held hole punch for the ribbon openings.
The Painted with Love Specialty Designer Paper is a good weight/thickness for 3-D projects.

Today's project is my second Valentine treat holder for 2018. It's cute and easy and can be adapted for any occasion.
Tucked inside this mini Valentine gift is an individually packed heart candy that measures about 3" x 4" and is about 1/2" - 3/4" thick.
To me, the star of this project is the new Ready Shreddie (145562) filler. I love this accessory and the fussy, fancy look it gives to this project. It is SO fun to use and comes in a pack of three colors with plenty for lots of projects.

For box, cut card stock to 3 3/4" x 7 1/2". Score on the log side at 3/4", 3 1/2", 4 1/4", and 7". Turn and score at 1/2" and 1 1/4".
Designer paper for box is cut at 2 1/2" wide by 2 1/4" tall.
Try putting the treat in the box before stuffing with the Ready Shreddie. Easier to determine how much you need and you can arrange it to look all fancy. ;)

Cut Painted with Love DSP to 4 1/2" x 6 1/2". Score at 2", 3", 5", 6" on long side. Turn and score the side that will be your box bottom at 1".
Cut another piece of designer paper to 1" x 6 1/2". Fold in half and punch with Banner Triple Punch.
