Last night, on my Facebook LIVE broadcast, we made a mini treat bag and the Tic Tac Holder for Easter pictured above.   Both are very easy to make and you can customize for any occasion.

The Tic Tac Holder is made with the Hold on to Hope Bundle (wood, clear).  It's a beautiful set at any time of year.

The treat bag pictured above is made with the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack with the sentiment from Sweet Little Something. It's all tied up with a little trick using our Burlap Ribbon.

• Cut card stock to 3" x 5 1/4".
• Score at 1/2", 2 1/4", 2 7/8", and 4 5/8".

Details for Mini Treat Bag:

• Start with a 6" x 6" piece of designer paper.
• Score on one side at 1 1/4" and 4 3/4".
• Turn and score at 2 1/2" and 3 1/2".
• Make diagonal folds as seen in video.

Stampin' Up! offers some great products  for dry embossing on your handmade cards.  As seen above, the embossing is subtle but adds that special something to make this simple card so pretty!

This embossing is created with the Petal Pair Embossing Folders which are in the Occasions Catalog but you can also earn them for FREE with a qualifying purchase of $50!  I think it makes a beautiful background for these products from the Ribbon of Courage Bundle available in wood mount or clear mount stamps.  That one sweet sentiment surrounded by pretty elements is so special.  Use your tools and dies to make your creations pop!

Lisa's Inklings:

• Play with color.  I usually take my lead on color combos with designer paper.  No designer paper here!  I just went for a color I loved (Pool Party) and found another that would be a contrast yet be pleasing to my eye. Note that I said pleasing to "my eye".  That's what's important.  If you like it, go for it!
• As mentioned in the video, often times I will die cut shapes in "bulk" in Whisper White then sponge with the color that I need when creating.  Let me tell you...that can be a real time saver.  Give it a try and let me know how it works for you.

Today's cardmaking project "wears" and pretty technique fold for your handmade creations. 

This drapery fold is no more that an angled cut, a few score lines, and an accordian fold.  Put that stash of designer paper to good use with this technique and you'll have some beautiful cards on hand to send to loved ones.

Let's take a look at the video tutorial.  It will just take a few minutes of your time and you'll have a fun technique fold in your cardmaking bag of tricks!

Lisa's Inklings:

• Card base is cut 4 1/4" x 11" and scored at 5 1/2".
• Whisper White is cut 5 1/4" x 4". 
• Designer paper is cut 10" x 4 3/4".
• Make a tick mark at 3/4" on one of the 4 3/4" sides.
• Turn and mark the other 4 3/4" side and 3/4". 
• Cut designer paper at an angle from tick mark to tick mark.
• On one of the diagonal pieces, start at the wide end and score at 2", 3", 5", 6", 8", and 9".
• Accordion fold on the score lines to make your drapery fold.

Some of the supplies used on the card in this video are no longer available.  The Paper Trimmer and Simply Scored Scoring Tool are basics.  Add some pretty designer paper and ribbon; two are suggested here.  Top with your favorite sentiment for a really pretty card!
