Tropical Chic Treat Box and Giveaway

Now that summer time is here in the 'States, this Tropical Chic treat box will be a fun addition to your warm weather celebrations.

When first seeing these products at Stampin' Up! On Stage in November, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the stamp set and coordinating framelits.   And, the matching designer series paper makes creating a "tropical" breeze.

During this LIVE broadcast on my Facebook page, Ink and Inspirations with Lisa Brown, I mentioned that cutting lots of pieces for one card was not something that I usually took the time to do.  But these coordinating products from Stampin' Up! make it so easy and the end result is so worth it!  I've started stamping and die cutting lots of pieces at once to have on hand when the time is limited.

Stampin-up-tropical-treat-boxThis box is actually one of our Acetate Card Boxes cut in half.  LOVE that!  Talk about versatility in the product!

Using Stampin' Up! Embossing Dies

Embossing- diesThe beautiful leaves impression above was created with some of the new embossing dies found in the Stampin' Up! Nature's Roots Framelits Dies collection.  These beautiful tools are part of the new Rooted in Nature Bundle from the new annual catalog.

These thinlits do not have a cutting edge so they only emboss.  You can strategically place these anywhere on your card stock for a lovely textured accent.

Here's a video tutorial that shows these beauties in action!

See this embossing dies video on You Tube HERE.

You can create beautiful die-cut trees and leaves in record time with Framelits dies and the Big Shot. These Framelits will cut out beautifully designed trees. In addition to Framelits for every stamp image this set includes the Thinlit leaves seen in the video above to create a light emboss texture.
* 12 dies
* Largest die: 3-3/8" x 2-1/8"
