Today's cardmaking project is definitely for these birds on a branch colored with the beautiful alcohol markers from Stampin' Up!...our Stampin' Blends.

These little sweeties are from the Free As A Bird Cling Stamp Set [149468] in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog and it's so much fun coloring these little feathered friends in different colors.

Here's the quick video that will show the coloring process.  It won't take much of your time so give it a whirl!

Lisa's Inklings:

• The card base is Smoky Slate 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [131202] cut at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2.  You will also need the backing layer for the birds cut at 4-1/2 x 2-3/4 and a little piece for the sentiment cut at 1/2 x 1.
• The Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [100730] for the stamped image is cut at 4 x 5-1/4.
• The Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper [149592] is cut at 4 x 5-1/4.  (Notice the buds on this print are blue but I used pink for coloring the buds since I wanted the little birds to have a bit of blue.)

This type of coloring is so relaxing.  I hope you will give it a try.  If you'd like to know which colors to begin your collection, I have my suggestions HERE.

Today we are featuring this adorable card created by one of my new Stars Team Members, Linda Bittinger.  Taking the spotlight is the Back On Your Feet Cling Stamp Set [149385] from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  Isn't that knotted twine perfect as an embellishment?  Spot on, Linda!

Look at these super cute images in this set!

Below are some project details:

• The giraffe is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad [132708] and colored with Stampin' Blends. (Listed below.)
• The Whisper White 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [100730] for the stamped image and the Old Olive 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [100702] layer behind it is cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies [148551].
• The sentiment is stamped in Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Pad [147115] which has been "stamped off" to give it a lighter shade of the color.
• The Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder [151797] was inked with Soft Suede ink then a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Sahara Sand 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [121043] was placed inside to run through the embossing machine/die cutting machine.
• The base is Early Espresso 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [119686] cut at 4-1/4" x 11" and scored in half at 5-1/2".
• The knotted Nature's Twine [146342] in Crumb Cake was secured with Mini Glue Dots [103683]

Today's project is a manly card made with one of my favorites from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog (that's the big one!), Rustic Retreat Cling Stamp Set [150285].  This beautiful deer is easy to color and we are switching it up a bit by stamping and coloring on Crumb Cake cardstock.

 Let's start of the 12 Weeks of Halloween Projects for 2019 with this home décor banner made with Stampin' Up! supplies!

I love using this simple style banner for Halloween but I have made kinds of styles!  Here is a look at two from past years HERE and HERE!

This one comes to you early in the season so you can have it ready when it's time to decorate.

Let's take a look at the first in a series of Halloween projects for 2019.

Lisa's Inklings:

• Banner pieces are cut from Crumb cs and measure 4" x 5-1/2".  The banner end is hand-cut with Paper Snips as seen in the video.  You'll need about 1/2 sheet of cc to die cut the letters.
• Cajun Craze cs is cut 1" x 4" for strips along the top of the banner.  You'll need about 1/2 sheet of Cc to punch the Starbursts.
• You'll need about 1/2 sheet of Bb to punch the 2" circles.

You will also need a die cutting machine, hole punch, ruler, and paper trimmer.
