Yesterday's Facebook Live featured this Blessing Box and some sweet little handmade cards.
The idea is to bless others by leaving a little card in unexpected places with an inspiring message. Usually, I will carry mini Valentines to share on Valentine's Day but this year will be sharing during the fall preceding Thanksgiving. I know in my heart that those who find the cards are meant to have them. Another idea is to share with those who provide a service for you. (Mail Carrier, clerk at the bank, cashier at the market...you get the idea.)
Here is a photo of how the box opens...
Here's a peek at the little cards. I made three of each.
Here's the recording of the Facebook Live video...
- For the box... Card stock is cut to 6-1/4 x 11. Score on the 11" side at 1-1/2, 4-3/4, 6-1/4, 9-1/2. Turn and score on the 6-1/4" side at 1-1/2 and 4-3/4.
- Designer Paper for top of box is cut to 3" x 3".
- For the cards...cut card stock to 3" x 6" and score in half at 3".
- Designer paper is cut to 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" for cards with a piece of Whisper White for the inside cut the same.

I hope you will create your own Blessing Box and share a little of your handmade kindness with others in this season of Thanksgiving.
