Need To Make a Get Well Card?

Stampin-up-get-well-cardChances are, if you don't know someone that could use a get well card now, you will some time in the future.  This beautiful Healing Hugs stamp set from Stampin' Up! is one that is a staple in my collection.

Don't you love the Distinktive images that give you shading and texture with just one ink then stamp motion?  Or, as you will see in the video, you can "stamp off" so that your ink is not so dark and get varying shades of the same color.

Let's take a look!

Lisa's Inklings:

  • Blackberry Bliss Card Stock- 6-1/2" x 3".

Let's Dress Up Your Thanksgiving Table

Thanksgiving-napkin-rings-and-placecardsYou can easily dress up your Thanksgiving table with supplies from you craft room.

In the photo above, you can see three examples of napkin rings.  The 2019 Gather Together Bundle and the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper are highlighted here.  Use any combination of leaves, sentiments, and images to make beautiful napkin rings.

If you do not have use for napkin rings, use these elements to create place cards such as the one in the upper right of the photo.

For the napkin rings, cut a piece of designer paper to 1" x 8".  Add elements using inks and card stocks to complement the designer paper.

For the place card, cut the designer paper 3" x 4".  Fold in half at 2".  Use a label punch with a light neutral card stock for a space to write the names of your guests.  Add leaves or stamped images in the upper left corner to make it fancy.  You can make these ahead of time and store them easily.

Your paper crafting supplies can serve you well for home decór and party planning.  Try this idea for your Thanksgiving table to surprise and delight your family and friends.

Stampin' Up! Night Before Christmas Gift Card Holder and Box

Night-before-christmas-santa-sneakYesterday's LIVE on Facebook featured some fun projects using the Night Before Christmas Suite from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.

Unfortunately, there are focus issues with the video.  Since the quality is not as good as I want it to be, I chose not to upload the video. If you're "brave", you can catch the replay HERE.

First project is this card/gift card holder...so fun!

Night-before-christmas-santa-cardLooks like a fun card, right?  Don't you love that Santa?! Take a look at the inside...

Night-before-christmas-inside-cardHere are the details for this gift card holder:

  • The card base is cut at 4-1/4" x 11".
  • Score this at 5-1/2" and 9".
  • Fold over to make flap for the gift card as shown above.  Adhere to the two sides with Tear & Tape.
    Inside of card...
  • Very Vanilla is cut 4" x 5-1/4".  The Santa hat paper is cut 2" x 4".
  • Sentiment is stamped in Poppy Parade
  • The  "From Santa" tag is embossed with Shimmer White embossing powder and die cut.
    Card front...
  • Loop 16-18" of ribbon around card.  This will be a tie closure. You can adhere the ribbon place on the center front with a little bit of SNAIL adhesive.  This is just to hold it in place before you attach the layers.
  • The layers are Very Vanilla cut at 3" x 3-3/4" and the Paisley print designer paper is cut 3-1/4" x 4".
  • Santa is stamped on Shimmery White card stock in Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin' Blends.
  • The "Believe" sentiment is stamped in VersaMark and embossed with the Shimmer White embossing powder.
