What I Am Missing Most
July 21, 2020
Throughout the months since this past March, what we've missed most are these three precious granddaughters.
Before you ask...yes, Jackie and I are still being very cautious since I have a heart condition and we now have my 90 year old dad here with us. One of our daughters and her husband are both medical professionals. She is a trauma/ER nurse and he, a nurse anesthetist, so they are both in the thick of it all, so to speak. We are blessed and grateful for their service and their knowledge. Our youngest daughter and her husband work in ministry; he a pastor of a church in north Texas. We look to all of them for guidance and we wait in hope.
I've talked to many of you who are also in this same situation. How thankful we are for technology with FaceTime, video chat, and Zoom. At least this youngest little sweetheart will recognize me when I get to hug and hold her again.
Our two girls were able to get their families together this past weekend and look how sweet these cousins are playing together. This makes my heart so happy! Don't you just love candid shots like this?
Although we are not all together, these captured moments are priceless. I see some memory keeping/scrapbooking pages forthcoming with these photos!
I am thankful to find joy in these moments that these our girls and their families share. And, I know in my heart that the Lord is working on us and through us in all of this. In Him is our hope.
I pray that your days may bring you joy and that hope fill your hearts.
May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all!
Thank you so much, N! Miss these sweet girls so much!
