Give kids paper and glue and they are ready to be creative so paper crafts really come naturally to them. This week, Lyla worked with me on her Valentines and wanted to do most of the work herself.
In the first picture (above), you can see her using the Paper Trimmer to slip in her cut card stock to score for the card fold.
I helped her line up the edge on the 3" mark and then she scored all of the the cards with the light gray scoring blade.
We chose a heart stamp and "just for you" sentiment from Kangaroo & Company Photopolymer Stamp Set . She colored the stamps with a marker from the Regals Stampin' Write Markers . We found a punch that would work to cut out the images.
She glued each of the punched circles to the card fronts. The Valentines are ready except for her to sign her name on the inside of each card. These 3 x 3 cards are the perfect size for Valentines. You can even tape or glue a little treat to the inside or the back of each card.
Now that you've read this post, I hope you are inspired to create and craft with the little ones in your life. Have fun and happy crafting!
Thank you for stopping by today! Take care! - Lisa
