The Stampin' Up! Art Gallery Bundle and coordinating designer and specialty papers make special cards for birthdays and other occasions.
You just may find your self reaching for these supplies over and over again...like me! I've found that this coordination of products makes the design of cards easy with beautiful results.
If you'd like to create one for someone you know (or, just one to have in your card stash for when you need it), here's the how-to video tutorial.
- Pool Party 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock is cut 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 for base and 3-1/4 x 4-1/4 for accent layer.
- Fine Art Floral 12" X 12" Designer Series Paper is cut 4 x 5-1/4.
- Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate is cut 3 x 4.
- Basic White 8 1/2" X 11" Cardstock is cut 3 x 5-1/4 for stamping and die cutting and 4 x 5-1/4 for inside of card.
Here's a view of the inside of the card. Using the "stamp off" technique (ink the stamp, stamp off on scratch paper then stamp on your card stock), you will be able to write your message over the stamped image. To make it even more faint, you may "stamp off" twice.
Here are the supplies used on this birthday card...
Here's hoping you've been inspired by today's cardmaking project and video. Thank you for visiting today and I'll see you again soon!
