Handmade Stampin' Up! Card of Appreciation - Floral Themed

Handmade-hydrangea-card-of-appreciationToday's Stampin' Up! project is a handmade card of appreciation created with the beautiful Hydrangea Haven Photopolymer Stamp Set [154470]In this particular sample, the retired Roccoco Rose is used for the pink color.  If you do not have that retired ink pad in your stash, you can use a different pink such as Blushing Bride Classic Stampin' Pad [147100] or Petal Pink Classic Stampin' Pad [147108].

Also to note: While these images were cut with scissors after stamping, you can also use the coordinating dies to cut the images.  Get 10% off when you purchase the bundle and dies together..the Hydrangea Haven Bundle.

Here are the instructions for this handmade card of appreciation:

Cut your Basic White [159276] card base to 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”. Score at 4 1/4”.
Cut the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper [154570] at 4” x 5 1/4” and glue to the card base front.
Cut the Basic White Cardstock [159276] to approx 3 x 4.
With the brush stroke stamp, stamp the different colors to cover the Basic White piece.  Stamp-off to make colors to make lighter versions of the colors.
Using a Stitched So Sweetly Dies [151690], choose the scalloped rectangle that will die-cut the stamped brush strokes.
Add Stampin' Dimensionals [104430] to the back then add to the center of the card.
Cut a 1/2” x 3" strip of the acetate and add a little bit of the liquid glue and put down the right side of the die-cut rectangle.
Stamp your flower outline image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad [132708] and then stamp the solid image to add color to your flower and the leaves.
Cut out flower images and leaves with Paper Snips [103579] or use the Hydrangea Dies [154326].
Add dimensionals to the back of the flowers and layer on the left side of the rectangle piece
Make a little bow from the Very Vanilla 3/8" Scalloped Lace Trim [149593], add the leaves with a Mini Glue Dot [103683].
Stamp your sentiment on Basic White and cut out around it with your Paper Snips. Adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals [104430].
