Make A Card to Reach Out To A Friend
June 05, 2021
Do you know a friend who would love to receive a card in the mail? Is there someone that you know who would appreciate getting a note of encouragement in one of your handmade cards?
Today's project is the perfect card for a summertime greeting! Created with the Sweet As A Peach Bundle (English) [155823], this is one that would surely brighten someone's day!
This card was created on a recent Craft & Chat with Lisa Facebook Live. The recording is below and if you want to skip over all the "chat" at the beginning, you can start the project demonstration at about 8 minutes into the video.
Lisa's Inklings:
- Calypso Coral Cardstock [122925] base is cut at 4-1/4 x 11.
- You will need about 2 x 4 each of Petal Pink Cardstock [146985] and Pear Pizzazz Cardstock [131201] for stamping and die-cutting.
- Vellum Cardstock [101856] - 3 x 4 for die-cutting.
- You're A Peach Designer Series Paper [155686] - 4 x 5-1/4 for die-cutting.
Don't you think this is a great card to send to a friend? I have to admit that I must do better at sending those "just because" cards. Let's all commit to that, shall we?
As I said in the video, this suite of products reminds me of my mom because she loved peaches! I feel like there her sweetness is in every card that I make with these sweet peaches!
Here's the inside of the card with plenty of space to write a "sweet as a peach" note. :)
