Stampin' Up! On Trend- Succulents and Plants

Plentiful-plants-you-touched-my-heartToday's Stampin' Up! card idea showcases the trending succulent and plant theme with the Plentiful Plants Bundle [155688]

This sweet card was designed by one of my assistants, Catherine...isn't it pretty?  I just love the color combination gleaned from the beautiful Bloom Where You're Planted Designer Series Paper [155696]. (This paper is ON SALE for a few more days!) Read all about this sale HERE!

Ready to create this succulent and plant-themed card yourself?  Here are the details!

Stampin' Up! Supplies:

Instructions:

Step 1: Cut the card base at 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”. Score at 4 1/4”

Step 2: Cut the designer paper at 4” x 5 1/4”. Ink the edges with Soft Suede ink. Adhere to the card base with liquid glue.

Step 3: Cut a strip of the Cinnamon Cider card stock at 3/4” x 4”. Add some glue and place it towards the bottom as shown.

Step 4: Rub the Memento Black ink pad over the Paper Lattice until all covered. Add liquid glue and adhere to the top center.

Step 5: Stamp your sentiment in Memento Black ink. Die-cut it out with the Stitched So Sweetly dies. Add liquid glue and adhere as shown.

Step 6: Stamp your flower pot stamp in the Cajun Craze on Cinnamon Cider card stock die-cut out. Die-cut then hanging basket in Basic White. Adhere over the flower pot.  Stamp greenery in Just Jade and Evening Evergreen and glue behind the flower pot. Adhere to the top left. Take one of the Sea Spray Pearls and color with the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend. Adhere to the top of the hanging basket.

Step 7: Stamp the other flower pot in Memento Black ink on the Smoky Slate card stock and die-cut. Stamp the greenery in Garden Green and Soft Succulent ink. Adhere to the back of the flower pot. Add your liquid glue and adhere to the right on top of the Cinnamon Cider strip.

Step 8: Die-cut the little flower pot in Smoky Slate card stock. Stamp the greenery in Soft Succulent and Just Jade ink. Glue to the back of the flower pot and adhere to the left side of the strip.
