Lisa's Inklings:

• Even if you don't have a little character to "hold" your banner, you can make one to attach to the top layer of your card.  Choose your designer paper layer so your banner will stand out and not be competing with the pattern.
• It's best to use a very thin ribbon, twine, or Linen Thread [104199] as seen here for your banner.
• Your banner pieces could also be cut pieces of card stock instead of a sentiment.
