Today's project is a card-making idea with a special ribbon treatment to give to a friend or other amazing person in your life featuring the Color & Contour Set and Coordinating Dies.  I was so glad to see these carry over into the new annual catalog from Stampin' Up!  The layering possibilities with these dies are too many to count!

Highlighted on this card this ribbon treatment that is a nice alternative to a bow.  Although this card has a definite feminine feel, this same technique can be used on a masculine card by securing the looped ribbon with a  Linen Thread knot instead of a bow.

This 4th edition of Makeover Magic is a Gift Bag or Gift Card Holder for your 2022 Graduate.  The original was made for a thank you gift but the size is just right for cash, gift cards, or a little gift.

The makeover version uses the beautiful new Texture Chic 12" X 12"  Specialty Designer Series Paper [158808] from the new annual catalog along with the dies from All That Dies [159078] and the sentiment from Celebrating You Cling Stamp Set (English) [158028].  There wasn't one piece of gold foil in my stash so the punched stems are gold embossed to coordinate with the other elements of the bag.

Lisa's Inklings:
Texture Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper [158808] is cut 6 x 8-1/2.
8-1/2" side is scored at 3,4,7, and 8.
6" side is scored at 1, 4-1/2, 5-1/2. 
The 1" will be the bottom of the bag.
Petal Pink Cardstock [146985] is cut 3x 3 to die-cut.
Basic White Cardstock [159276] is cut 4 x 5 for die-cut for sentiment and punched pieces.

A little color was added to the sentiment with a Petal Pink Stampin' Blends Combo Pack [154893].

Here's a birthday card made with the Artfully Layered Bundle and a vellum tip.  The summery, tropical feel of this card is nice for late spring and summer birthdays here in North America.

When using vellum, you have to be a little sneaky with your adhesive so that it doesn't show through the other side.  In this short video on YouTube, you can see how the placement of the greenery hides the adhesive.

Today's project is a little tag made with the Sweet Songbirds Bundle (English) [158727] from the new Stampin' Up! Catalog for Teacher Appreciation Week.

Mia graduated from pre-school this week and she gave her teachers this sweet flowering plant with a little handmade tag.

If you have been following me, you know that we have been caring for our 92-year young dad after a lengthy stay in the hospital.  We are getting him set up so that he can remain in his home with everything that he needs.  So...I have not had much time to play with all my new Stampin' Up! goodies but I did make time to make these tags for Mia. :)

My new Decorative Circle Punch [159174] had not yet arrived so an old circle punch was used for the bird.  You could also stamp and punch the bird with the coordinating bird punch. The sentiment is also punched with a retired punch but you can just cut a 3/4" strip of paper for the sentiment.  Mia's mom just wrote the teachers' names and that it was from Mia on the back of the tag.
