1. How long have you been paper crafting?

I started out scrapbooking when my grandkids started coming 38 years ago.
I am now 78 and have graduated to cards. I make cards for my kids, my grandkids, and people
from my church. I make everyone birthday cards, anniversary cards and Christmas cards.
I make cards for 178 people. I have my Christmas cards done for this year.

2. What is your favorite stamp set?
Barn Door. I am not sure if Stampin’ Up! still has this but I certainly made a lot of them.

3. What is your favorite color combination?
My favorite color combination is purple and violet but I like adding different paper textures of
the same color group. Sometimes, I like to machine stitch around the outer layers for added
dimension.

4. What is your favorite type of paper crafting or technique?
I like to have different textures and layers to my cards. I have just recently started making
many of the same cards to more finely develop my skills. Many times, the card I start out with
is not the same as the cards I end up with. I have most recently been using 5-1/4 x 5-1/4
cards. This gives me more room to develop my scene.

Here's a beautiful card that Julie created...

Special note from Julie:  I have two miniature schnauzers in my house and after breakfast, I call to them, "Let's go make cards" and they come running!

Thank you, Julie, for sharing with us!
