Easy Accent Fold for Handmade Cards
July 15, 2022
Today's project features an easy accent fold for your handmade cards. This design was created for our monthly Stars Team Meeting for a Mystery Stamping session. Although simple in design, it's a sweet alternative to a traditional fold for a card.
Here is the recipe and the only details that were given to the Stars Team before our virtual gathering on Zoom:
- You can mix and match your designer paper patterns to your liking. The patterns here are from the Splendid Day 12" X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper [159666]
- Your label for the main image/sentiment can be punched, die cut, or even a square or rectangle cut with your Paper Trimmer [152392]. On this sample, a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies [159183] was used.
- Try this with a colored card base and a Basic White Cardstock [159276] accent strip.
Here's another version with a different color scheme...
Try overlapping images especially if outline images like on this card. These from the Splendid Thoughts Bundle (English) [159677] are so pretty.
If you would like to create this card, you can find the supplies in the Online Store. If you do not have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I would be happy to serve you! E-mail me and let me know how I can help you!
