Let's start the week off with a birthday card tutorial including some tips for backgrounds. 

This card features the Share a Milkshake Bundle and I've used the "straw" stamp to make a fun background.  It adds a fun touch and ties in the Crumb Cake color from the cone and the ribbon.

The images and dies in this combo of products add just the right touch for birthday celebrations, Valentine cards, or for just because greetings!

• The card base is Basic White Thick Cardstock [159229] cut at 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2.
• The back layer in Crumb Cake Cardstock [120953] is cut 4 1/8 x 5 3/8.
• The Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper [160375] is cut 4 x 5 1/4.
• The Basic White Cardstock [159276] label is cut from the Scalloped Contour DDies.
• Another strip of the white is cut 1/2 x 5 and trimmed for the sentiment.
• For the ice cream cone, the cone is die cut from Crumb Cake, the chocolate topping from Early Espresso Cardstock [119686] and the images stamped on Basic White.
