Elegant Wedding Card

Let's start the week with this wedding card (or card for any celebration) using a touch of gold with vanilla. Featured here is one of our carry-over sets, the Color & Contour Photopolymer Stamp Set [154994].

- Color & Contour Photopolymer Stamp Set [154994]
- Very Vanilla 8-1/2" X 11" Thick Cardstock [144237]
- Very Vanilla 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [101650]
- Versamark Pad [102283]
- Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine [149653]
- Scalloped Contours Dies [155560]
- Double Oval Punch [154242]
- Metallics Embossing Powders [155555]
- Heat Tool (Us And Canada) [129053]
- Timeworn Type 3 D Embossing Folder [156505]
- Festive Pearls [159963]
- Gold & Vanilla 3/8" (1 Cm) Satin Edged Ribbon [159555]
- Mini Glue Dots [103683]
- Stampin' Seal+ [149699]
- Multipurpose Liquid Glue [110755]
Measurements:
Card Base: Very Vanilla Thick – 1 pc. 4 1/4 x 11. Score at 5 1/2.
Cardstock #2: Very Vanilla – 4 x 5 1/4 for embossed layer, 3 x 5 for die cutting scalloped rectangle, and 4 x 4 to punch ovals.
Ribbon: (2) 5 1/2 - 6 inches
Instructions:
- Score Thick Very Vanilla at 5 1/2. Fold and burnish.
- Emboss large Very Vanilla piece with embossing folder.
- Die cut scalloped rectangle .
- Stamp image in VersaMark on scalloped rectangle; stamp sentiment in VersaMark on 4 x 4 piece.
- Heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Punch sentiment with scalloped oval.
- Adhere these embossed pieces to large layer about 1 inch from the bottom.
- Take one piece of ribbon and stretch across beneath scalloped pieces. Adhere two ends on back with adhesive.
- Tie bow with other piece of ribbon and attach as shown with a glue dot.
- Adhere this entire piece to card front.
- Attach three gold Festive Pearls.
- Finish inside as desired.
Although this card was created with a wedding couple in mind, this style is appropriate for a birthday, graduation, retirement, anniversary or any celebratory occasion.
