Easy Gift Card Holder with Gift of Giving

Santa-gift-card-holderToday's project is a gift card holder created primarily with Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper.  This is a festive way to use your paper in your stash to create for the Christmas season of giving.

The design was presented in an Ink and Inspirations LIVE video.  You see the assembly and the process in the video HERE.

Easy-santa-gift-card-holderIt's so simple to make a pocket for a gift card with an easy 1" fold of designer paper.  Below are the basic measurements so that you can create these this holiday season.

  • Cut the designer paper to 4 1/4" x 12". Score at 1" and 6 1/2".
  • You will need a piece of card stock that coordinates with the designer paper and cut 1" x 4 1/4". This strip will be adhered to on the left edge of the designer paper and will be part of the pocket.
  • The inner pieces of card stock are to write your message and are cut 3" x 4" in Basic White and 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" in the same color as the coordinating card stock strip.
  • If you'd like a closure for your card, glue a long piece of ribbon around to tie on the right closure. The main image on the front should be glued over the ribbon to secure it.
