Details on the remake:

  • Cut Flirty Flamingo card stock 4" x 10".  Score the 10" side at 1", 4 1/2", 5 1/2" and 9".Turn and score on 4" side for the box bottom and score at 1".
  • Cut 2 pieces of Most Adored 12" X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper [162976] at 2 3/4" tall and 3 1/4" wide.
  • You will need a piece of Gold Foil about 3" x 3" to cut the Perennial Postage Dies [162607].
  • The floral image was fussy cut from the Most Adored paper and colored with Stampin' Blends.
  • Soft Sea Foam card stock was cut into thin strips and crinkled for filler.

It's Fractured! A Simple Card Technique

Called by many crafters, the "fractured" technique from the illusion, it's an easy method to give a dynamic look to your cards.

Let's take a look at the recording of the video so you, too, can say, "That's how it's done!"

Lisa's Inklings:

  • Standard A2 card base is cut either 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" or 4 1/4" x 11".
  • Designer paper is cut 4" x 5 1/4".
  • Strips are cut 1/4" x 5 1/4".
  • Two squares for the center: Back layer- 2" x 2" and 1 3/4" x 1 3/4".
