It's Fractured! A Simple Card Technique

Fractured-card-making-technique-sabOn last week's LIVE, we made this card featuring a simple cardmaking technique.

Called by many crafters, the "fractured" technique from the illusion, it's an easy method to give a dynamic look to your cards.

Let's take a look at the recording of the video so you, too, can say, "That's how it's done!"

Lisa's Inklings:

  • Standard A2 card base is cut either 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" or 4 1/4" x 11".
  • Designer paper is cut 4" x 5 1/4".
  • Strips are cut 1/4" x 5 1/4".
  • Two squares for the center: Back layer- 2" x 2" and 1 3/4" x 1 3/4".

The two featured products on this card are Stampin' Up! Level 1 Sale-A-Bration choices (each is FREE with a $50 product purchase):
