Ready to add an element of surprise to your cardmaking? Get ready to be amazed by the Pop-Out Panel Fun Fold! In this week's LIVE video tutorial on both Facebook and YouTube, we explored the magic of this creative fold, and today, I'm excited to share a beautiful sample with you.

Featured on this project is the fantastic Everyday Details Bundle [162865]. Paired with the charming Meandering Meadows 6" X 6" Designer Series Paper [162735], it's a combination that's sure to be a favorite. The details and beautiful patterns make this card a stunning creation and a work of art.

Curious about the assembly process? Let's take a look at the recording of the video tutorial linked below. You'll be guided through each step, making this seemingly complex fold an enjoyable and achievable crafting adventure.

Lisa's Inklings:

  • Card base is cut 8" x 5 1/2" and scored at 2", 4", and 6".
  • The pop-out mechanism is cut 5" x 1" in the same color as the card base.
  • Your main image panel from designer paper should be cut 3" wide x 5" tall. Card stock layers behind this image are 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" (card base color) and 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" in a coordinating color.
  • Cut (6) panels of designer paper 1 3/4" x 5 1/4".  I used the same pattern on all 6 panels.
  • Basic White for back is cut 1 3/4" x 5 1/4".
  • Belly band is cut from two pieces of card stock.  One is 1" x 11" and the accent strip is 1/4" or 1/2" x 11".
  • Choose layers for belly band image according to the size of your image or sentiment.

So, if you're ready to work a little magic into your cards and surprise your recipients, this Pop-Out Panel Fun Fold is the perfect technique to try. Gather your supplies and create something extraordinary then share your card on our Ink and Inspirations Stampers Group!
