Easy DIY Gift Packaging- Sweet Peach Gift Idea

Easy-diy-gift-packagingToday's project and video tutorial features an easy DIY gift package with a "sweet peach" gift idea.  These cute pens from Amazon are the perfect match for our peachy products!

This little packaging idea is so easy!  Just add a pretty tag and it makes it super special!

The following is the edited recording of my Facebook Live with this project.

Lisa's Inklings:

Didn't I tell you that this was easy DIY gift packaging?  I have made almost a dozen of these!

I hope you have been inspired to try this.  Here's the list so you can get the supplies and the designer paper is still on sale but time is running out!

Product List

Some reminders:

Thanks for checking in today for this easy DIY gift packaging tutorial...it's your turn to give it a try!

Handmade Thank You Gift Tags

Let's start off Monday with a handmade "Thank You Gift Tag"!  These tags were made to attach to little gifts to those who placed a qualifying order with me or through my Stampin' Up! Online Store in March 2021.

Featured here are two of my favorites from the Stampin' Up! Last Chance list... the So Sentimental Cling Stamp Set (English) [151691] and Forever Greenery DSP.  This stamp set was designed specifically to "fit" the Stitched So Sweetly Dies [151690] which are not retiring (thank goodness!) and will be carried over into the new Stampin' Up! Catalog.

Here are the dies with the set (So Sentimental Bundle (English) [153828]) so you can see how well these coordinate...

To create the cut flagged end of the thank you gift tag, the Banner Triple Punch [138292] was used.  This item is retiring soon and is currently offered at a great discount!  You can easily make banner pieces in three widths: 1", 1-1/2", and 2".

If you'd like to see two more projects made with this stamp set, be sure to take a look at this card and this gift bag!

Here's a stack of these gifts with the handmade thank you gift tags!

Gift-tags-thank-youThese tags can easily be removed and used as a tag on a card front.  How about that...two gifts in one!

If you enjoyed this post, be sure to...

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you've been inspired by this handmade thank you gift tag and will create some to use on gifts or cards!

Easy DIY Gift Idea with Stampin' Up! Flowering Cactus

It's Tuesday and today we have an easy DIY project with the Stampin' Up! Flowering Cactus Product Medley.

I am always on the lookout for tea towels or dish towels that coordinate well with our stamp sets and designer papers.  The cactus-themed towel used in today's project is from Dollar Tree!  Here's one from last year with an Easter theme.

The color scheme in the Flowering Cactus Product Medley is different from the bright colors on this towel.  As you'll see in the video, it was easy to coordinate other Stampin' Up! Colors to match the towel.  Watch the video to see the process of this easy DIY gift with Stampin' Up! Flowering Cactus!

Lisa's Inklings:

  • Cut coordinating cardstock layer to 2" x 5".
  • Cut designer paper to match at 1-3/4 x 4-3/4.
  • You will need a piece of Basic White approximately 4" x 5" to stamp and cut your image.
  • For the sentiment, a 3/4" strip of Basic White was used and cut to fit.

Diy-gift-idea-stampin-up-flowering-cactus-2Here are the supplies used for this project.

Product List

You can easily create these DIY gift towels for any occasion.  Here are a few ideas:

  • Teacher gifts
  • New neighbor welcome
  • Church or local craft fairs
  • Stocking stuffers
  • Or, just a "thinking of you" gift to brighten anyone's day!

Now that you've seen this video, you can be on the lookout for cute tea or kitchen towels to have on hand to make these easy DIY gift ideas that you can create with Stampin' Up! coordinating products!

Blank 2000 x 2000-4If you're shopping for a gift for a crafty person in your life, these cardmaking kits are all-inclusive with everything that is needed to make some beautiful handmade cards.

This first kit is one of my favorites!  The completed cards are awesome with beautiful gold foil accents...the Looking Up Card Kit.
This kit makes 15 cards, 3 each of 5 designs, using the included Looking Up Photopolymer Stamp Set.  Folded card size is 4" x 6".

It comes with a classy looking box and all you'll need to do is wrap a pretty red bow around it and add a gift tag. The printed cardboard box is 9-1/4" x 9-1/4" x 1-7/8".

This box also makes for great storage for the completed cards.  And, as you can see, the stamp set comes with some super sentiments.  You can even use sentiments on multiple labels.  Need more birthday cards?  Just use the birthday sentiment on more of the labels.

Here is another kit that I thought would make a great gift.  It's the Simply Citrus Card Kit.

This kit has a fun and flirty feel. Included are supplies to make 15 cards, 3 each of 5 designs, using the included Simply Citrus Photopolymer Stamp Set which is also included.  The folded card size is 4-1/4" x 5-1/2".
The kit includes 9-1/4" x 9-1/4" x 1-7/8" printed cardboard box ready for gift giving...just add a pretty ribbon!

Just as in the other kit, this set of stamps is very versatile!

DIY Christmas Gift Tags with Stampin' Up! Tag Buffet

DIY Christmas Gift Tags Stampin' Up! Tag BuffetFor this week's Facebook Live, my husband, Jackie, and I teamed up for another "kit together" for some beautiful DIY Christmas Gift Tags.

This kit from the Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog is called appropriately, Tag Buffet.  There is a coordinating stamp set sold separately but honestly, you can create these tags and use on your Christmas gifts without the stamped sentiments.

Originally, I had asked Jackie to just punch out the tags and images and sort them for me.  When he asked if I wanted him to put them together, of course, I wasn't going to turn him down.  Here's the video from the Wednesday Craft & Chat on Facebook.

In the video, you saw that you can also use these tags to make Christmas cards.
Here is a look at those cards which would be great for sending to family or friends!
