For this week's Facebook Live, my husband, Jackie, and I teamed up for another "kit together" for some beautiful DIY Christmas Gift Tags.
This kit from the Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog is called appropriately, Tag Buffet. There is a coordinating stamp set sold separately but honestly, you can create these tags and use on your Christmas gifts without the stamped sentiments.
Originally, I had asked Jackie to just punch out the tags and images and sort them for me. When he asked if I wanted him to put them together, of course, I wasn't going to turn him down. Here's the video from the Wednesday Craft & Chat on Facebook.
In the video, you saw that you can also use these tags to make Christmas cards. Here is a look at those cards which would be great for sending to family or friends!
Here is a Stampin' Up! Supply Listing so you can get started!
Jackie and I are once again teaming up for this week's Facebook LIVE. It's another "team" live and we are wanting to help you get ready for this holiday season.
We will be working with the Tag Buffet Kit from Stampin' Up! These tags are beautiful and easy! Join us for tips and assembly with some alternative ideas for the tags as well as how you can use these to make Christmas cards.
Jackie created one kit for us and we will be working on our second during the LIVE. We are so excited about using these on our gifts this year. We will be on the hunt for wrapping paper that matches! The kit has supplies to make these thirty beautiful tags!

Today's project features a fun fold idea with Gnome for the Holidays for this 2020 Stampin' Up! Christmas Card.
The video tutorial is a recording from yesterday's Facebook Live, Craft and Chat on Ink and Inspirations with Lisa Brown. As usual, it IS a little chatty but we have fun and made a really cute Christmas card.
Gnome for the Holidays is a precious stamp set. You can see how the conversion of one to a Halloween gnome HERE.
Here's the recording of the LIVE broadcast. Have a look then read on for some details that will be helpful to you!
Base is cut 10-1/2 x 5-1/2. Score at 3-1/2 and 7. Score folds as seen on video (1-7/8").
Strip for belly band is cut 1 x 11.
DSP - 2 pieces cut at 5-1/8 x 3-1/4. Cut corners diagonally at 1-7/8" on inner side of each piece as seen in video. Cut off 1/2" of each flat end of diagonal piece.

This fun and fancy fold is called a miura fold...origami. The back and forth folding helps with the overall completed look but it confuses me at times as you saw in the video! ;)
Also in the video, the sentiment had to be "re-worked" but this is the version I prefer. Next go around, it might be good for me to try stamping the sentiment first.
The colors in this designer series paper are beautiful. Don't you love the Highland Heather mixed with those Stampin' Up! blues?
You know you'd love to try this fun fold! Here is a listing of supplies so you can re-create this one.
