Celebrating 47 Years!

47-yearsForty-seven years ago today, we became Mr. and Mrs. Brown.  It's been an incredible journey of love and faith.  We are blessed with two beautiful girls and sons-in-loves and three adorable granddaughters.   How has it already been 47 years?

47th-anniversaryI wanted to share the card that I made for Jackie...

Junee-wk-1-hes-the-man-anniversary-cardThis is a fun card made with the He's All That Bundle.  I just love the images in the set, the dies, and the die-cut pieces in the paper.

Here are the supplies used on this card...

This set of products is great for masculine cards.  Take a look at these two HERE! And, whether you are celebrating seven or forty-seven years, you can make a great anniversary card!

Life, Priorities, and Father's Day

DadWith Father's Day approaching this weekend, it is fitting that this man and a Father's Day card be the subject of today's post.  For the last few months, this man has been our family's priority getting him the care he needs to make these golden years of his life the best possible.  We appreciate your good thoughts and prayers for healing.

Fathers-day-card-best-dadIf you missed this post, you need to check out these other cards made with the same suite as this Father's Day card.  The He's the Man Suite from the Stampin' Up! Annual catalog is fabulous!  This paper crafter could NOT stop creating with it!  The stamp set and dies are awesome but the specialty designer paper with two sheets of die cut included make it extra special and so easy to create cards for your guy.  That diamond with the Best Day Award pictured above is just one example.

Stampin-up-fathers-day-card-hes-the-manAlso from the die sheet is the single star, the strip of stars and the journaling block that is the landing point for all those intricate pieces.  The circle, label, and argyle-look pieces are elements cut with the dies from the suite. And, did you notice?  There is no stamping on the card front.

But, the inside of the card has the Father's Day sentiment on another one of the die cut labels.

Best-dad-award-hes-the-manEven with all the elements on the front of this card, it still has a clean cut and classic look...don't you think?

Here is a list of supplies used for this card.  I truly appreciate your support. Every order placed through my online store helps support my business and if you are do not have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator,  I would be grateful and honored to serve as yours.

Masculine Birthday Cards with Stampin' Up! He's the Man

YouTube Thumbnail-Magic(1)Last week's Premiere featured two masculine birthday cards with the new Stampin' Up! Here's the Man Suite. You will love this group of products and if you struggle with masculine-themed cards, this is for you!

The die-cuts in the He's The Man 12" X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper [159068] are fantastic for making quick cards!  It was hard to stop creating once getting started with these.

Here's the recording of the video from the Premiere.

Masculine Birthday Cards with Stampin' Up! He's the Man

Lisa's Inklings:
-For the diagonal cut on the He's The Man 12" X 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper [159068], upper left to the lower right of two prints.  It's easiest if one of the prints does not have specific directionality.
-For the fun fold, cut your card stock 4-1/4 x 11.  Score at 5-1/2 and cut 3" off of what will be the front of the card.

Masculine-birthday-card-hes-the-manFour dies were used on the card above. The two Crushed Curry Cardstock [131199] banners are cut with one die!

Keep in mind that you don't always have to stamp on neutral card stock.  On this card, Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad [147114] was used on Soft Succulent 8 1/2" X 11" Cardstock [155776].

Masculine-birthday-card-stampin-up-hes-the-manThe inside of the card has a simple strip of leftover designer paper on a Basic White Cardstock [159276] layer.

Bbq-masculine-birthday-cardWhat an easy fun fold card!  Just change the orientation of a piece cut from the front.

Handmade-masculine-birthday-card-fun-foldThe card front covers the inside layer of the card.  Here, two scrap strips of patterned paper were used on the Basic White piece.

Masculine-fun-fold-card-hes-the-manThis sentiment could be used for a birthday card, congratulatory card, or graduation card.  There is no sentiment stamped on the inside so that it can be customized later for the occasion.

Here are the supplies used for these cards...

Each time you place an order through my online store, it supports my business and allows me to continue sharing!  If you do not have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I would be honored and grateful to serve as yours.

Handmade Card of Gratitude with Stampin' Up! Beautiful World Bundle (English) [154091] from Lisa Brown, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

Today's project is a card of gratitude featuring Stampin' Up! Beautiful World.  This bundle and suite of products is absolutely awesome!   It was on my first pre-order as a demonstrator and it was so popular, items in the suite were on backorder until recently.

This card layout was one shared with my Stars team recently.  The dimensions and details were shared and everyone was invited to choose a color scheme, supplies, and stamps to complete the project.  It was fun seeing all the different versions of the same layout.

Here's the how-to video tutorial then read on for more details.

Lisa's Inklings:

Here's the inside of the card.  The Sponge Brayer [141714] added the color to the Whisper White Cardstock [100730] piece that was cut 4 x 5-1/4.
