Video Recording of LIVE Periscope Broadcast with a Going Global Masculine Card

Stampin-up-masculine-card-going-global-video-periscopeWhat inspired me to create this Going Global Masculine Card LIVE on Periscope earlier, I do not know!

And, although, it's pretty raw footage with lots of uh's in my verbage (sorry Y'all!), it was fun being able to interact with those that were watching.  The input given was very helpful with the suggestion for the finishing touch for the card!

If you're not familiar with Periscope, it's a app for iOS and Android phones that enables you to record and/ or watch LIVE video from all over the world.

Anyway, if you're brave ;), take a look at the recording of this creative process below.  You may also find it HERE on You Tube.

Makeover Monday-Stampin' Up! Words of Truth and Moments Like These

Project-life-stampin-up-card-words-of-truthToday's Makeover Monday project features one of my favorite new sets, Words of Truth, paired with the Project Life by Stampin' Up! card kit, Moments Like These.

The backdrop is a fun print from one of our new Designer Series Paper Stacks, Go Wild.

Let's take a look below at the video tutorial from the past or you can find it here on You Tube.

  • For this makeover, I used a card from the Moments Like These card kit as a contrast to the Go Wild designer paper. This took the place of the masked piece from the video.
  • The "I love you." sentiment is stamped on our new Glassine Paper with Jet Black Stazon and punched with the new Washi Label Punch.
  • A little doodling and faux stitching accents the Itty Bitty Accents heart with a Project Life by Stampin' Up! journaling pen.
  • A strip of black satin ribbon adds a nice touch yet keeps the masculine feel.

Here's the Stampin' Up! supply list for today's card:

Stampin' Up! What's Your Type? For Backgrounds on Handmade Cards

Stampin' Up! What's Your Type Card Idea

The new Stampin' Up! What's Your Type? stamp set was a little scary to me at first but now that it's seen ink, I'm having a blast using it!

The geometric and abstract images can be used form letters of the alphabet and other shapes such as animals, sailboats, hearts, and more.

My love of this set comes from it's ability to form unique backgrounds and borders that will be appropriate for both feminine and masculine cards. So don't let it "scare" you! Step out of the box and give this new photopolymer set a try!
