Stampin' Up! Honey Bear Valentine and a FREE PDF!

My Digital Studio gave me a lot of help on this little honey bear project.  I saw a project like this on the cover of Paper Crafts magazine and I knew I had to recreate it!

Wouldn't this be a precious Valentine gift for your "honey", your little ones, your children's teachers...?

The base of the tag is created in My Digital Studio with a few added extras. :)

  1. The little bee is my pinkie fingerprint in More Mustard Classic ink.
  2. Basic Black Marker adds the eyes, stripes, and stinger.
  3. A mini heart from the Heart to Heart Punch in Whisper White poses as the wings.
  4. A Small Heart punched in Calypso Coral and dotted with a Basic Rhinestone adds a sweet little touch.
  5. Holes are punched in each side of the tag threaded with tiny Everyday Enchantment Organdy Ribbon...coming soon with Sale-A-Bration...woo hoo!

I'd love to share this digital tag with you for FREE!

Quick and Easy Valentine Gift Project Tutorial- Stampin' Up! Take It to Heart

Hi All!  Today I have a super easy Valentine gift project perfect for your child's teacher(s), friends, or to give just for fun!   And, to make it even more special, your child can help you with most of the project.  Here's a little step by step....I promise, once you get your supplies assembled, this will take 10 minutes...max!

First, take a heart image, this one from Take It To Heart (wood, clear), and stamp it twice.  (Real Red Classic on Blushing Bride card stock) Cut these hearts out or if you have the Hearts Collection Framelits, cut with your Big Shot.

Using a hot glue gun...this is the adult part...glue one heart to a jumbo paper clip as shown and carefully place the other stamped over top.

Punch a little embellishment, Small Heart Punch, to add to your stamped image.

Add a little bling with a Basic Rhinestone.

Cut about 8 inches of ribbon (Real Red Satin), loop through the paper clip as shown and tie in a knot.   Voila! You have a cute bookmark ready to give!

Have fun and let me know if you need anything to recreate this quick and easy Valentine project!!  Have a great day!

Stampin' Up! Project Ideas- Halloween Decor

Stampin-up-halloween-decor Lots of fun Halloween goodies in this photo.  I know it's hard to tell, but all these Stampin' Up! creations make a pretty cool display that I set up for workshops and in my home for my customers.  I love sharing these in a collection.  Just look how versatile your supplies can be for decorating, creating gifts and cards, and treats.

The eerie looking black branches were from our yard, my "better half" taped two together and with a little black spray paint... I have a fun, do-it-yourself Halloween tree perfect for hanging my pretties!

Then, after Halloween is over, I box it all up to save for the next year and use the ideas to create new projects! In a few weeks, I'll share my fall/Thanksgiving "spread".

I'd love to know if you create pretties to decorate your home for the holidays. Leave a comment here and let us know!  Look forward to hearing from you!
