I was busy scrapbooking my daughters’ high school years when I was invited to my first Stampin’ Up! party. I went reluctantly; after all, what did I need with rubber stamps? But my oldest daughter wanted to go, so I went. I made my first card that night…and I was hooked. A few months later I purchased the Starter Kit, and the rest is history.
I’m Lisa Solis Brown, and I’ve been an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator since 2006. After thirty-one years teaching special needs children in public education, I found a new joy in teaching paper crafting and helping others discover creativity, confidence, and the simple kindness of a handmade card.
What 19 Years Have Given Me
This journey has enriched my life more than I ever imagined through friendships, community, and some truly amazing experiences. Since 2013, I’ve earned seven Stampin’ Up! incentive trips (fewer than 1% of demonstrators worldwide earn these): a Mediterranean cruise with stops in Italy and France, Thailand, an Alaskan cruise, the Greek Isles, and two trips to Maui. Those trips reflect what I value most…consistently showing up to share creativity and serve my community.
A Little About My Family
My husband and I have been married for 50 years. We have two daughters, two wonderful sons-in-love, and three beautiful granddaughters. We live on the Texas Gulf Coast and spend a lot of time in the Missouri Ozarks, not far from Branson.
